As reported in Times Online, 13 January 2005, a survey revealed that, nationally, over a third of CVs were rejected because they were littered with spelling mistakes, did not have a covering letter - or revealed the details of the other 20 vacancies the CV had been sent to! According to research carried out by The Risk Advisory Group, as many as two-thirds of CVs contain inaccuracies.
